There are comments stated by Tom Tolar of Channel 3 about a commitment to the Chattanooga area and its viewers and how there will be no decrease in the Channel 3 staff.morning reporter Jacquie Smith left the station about a month ago. The reason: Channel 3 wanted a full-time reporter in that slot, and she wanted to remain part-time to spend time with her family, Smith said."(Channel 3) wanted someone who would produce pieces for the next day," Smith said, who is mom to 3-year-old Danielle and 1-year-old D.J.
